ABOUT
The Madison American Legion Post, located on Thrift Road, may be rented for community and private functions, such as birthday parties, family reunions, wedding receptions, club meetings, retirement parties, office meetings, or other private parties.
The Home has a large room that can accommodate up to 200 people and use of its tables and chairs. White twinkle lights have been installed along each wooden ceiling beam which enhances your special occasion. Least expensive place in downtown Madison to rent for what you get!

RENTAL EXCLUSIONS:
No rentals starting the Thursday prior thru the Monday after all "Event" weekends. This includes the monthly breakfasts, catfish suppers and all Legion sponsored fundraisers. This period may be longer or shorter as required.

PAVILION RENTAL
The Picnic shelter is available to rent.
The Pavilion is an ALL day rental from 6 am - 10 pm. (MUST CLEAR PROPERTY BY 10 PM) NO ALCOHOL ALLOWED.
This includes time for set up/decorating and clean up after event.

PAVILION DETAILS:
Accommodates approximately 75 people

FIRE REGULATIONS:
Grilling devices such as charcoal or propane AND any deep fryer must be at least 15 feet away from all structures.
Electric cooking device such as crockpots are allowed under the Pavilion.
SERVICES:
Electrical: Electrical circuits and lighting are available and provided to meet most major functions. The Landlord will not be responsible for the failure of any appliances or equipment utilizing said electrical circuits.
Water: The Landlord will provide adequate cold water service to the restrooms.
Trash: The Landlord will provide a trash can with liners for use with the Pavilion. Tenant (you) will remove the trash.
Parking. Parking for the Pavilion is on the left side of the parking lot when entering, or facing the Pavilion. Do not park on the grass. Do not block the driveway to the left of the American Legion Building. Should additional parking be required, create a center parking area in the middle of the parking lot. Since the parking lot is open for functions, Tenants of the Pavilion will not secure the parking lot for any reason whatsoever. Charge of an admission fee to enter said parking lot is not allowed.
Access: The Tenant will be furnished with rental lock(s) and/or keys to gain access to the Pavilion lighting, electricity and bathrooms.
Inspections & Inventory: The Landlord will provide a checklist; and the Tenant and a designated Legion representative will conduct an inspection and inventory prior to turning over the keys and/or the Pavilion to the Tenant. Another inspection and inventory will be conducted the following morning after the lease occurs. This procedure must occur prior to the return of any deposit.
