Quilt - Second chance to win this quilt!!

This year's winner took the quilt home immediately after the Fall Catfish Supper.

This Fundraising quilt, entered in the 2012 Madison County Fair, was awarded a Blue Ribbon, and Best in Show (seen in the photo).
The Original Drawing was held October, 2012. Winner decided to donate the quilt back to be raffled again.  Thanks go to all who sold or purchased tickets in 2012 and again in 2013.
The drawing will be held at the Fall Catfish Supper, October 19, 2013.
$1.00 per ticket or 6 tickets for $5.00.

The Churn Dash block was picked because it was a popular design in the early 1800's when we thought were going to commenorate the War of 1812, but then realized that there were too many historical events to pick just one.  We also realized that the four corners of each block embodied the idea of

The Four Pillars of the American Legion:

1. Veterans Affairs & Rehabilitation,
2. National Security,
3. Americanism and
4. Children & Youth.
