Grades 3-4-5: Make a poster including at least one of our five US Armed Forces Flags or write a short essay about one of these flag. Include what the colors and symbols mean. A category of miscellaneous is also available for entries that do not fit into any category listed.

Grades 6-8: The general theme “U.S. Armed Forces Flags” will be used for any hand drawings or computer generated flyer, so use your imagination. The essay is worth $25.00 and needs to incorporate the following: Select one flag. Write about its history and what the symbols and colors mean. Include the order all five U.S. Armed Forces Flags should be displayed. As long as these pieces of information are in your essay, the sky’s the limit on what you can produce. A category of miscellaneous is also available for entries that do not fit into any category listed.
